Wake up!

This documentary, House of Numbers,  has received various awards and rightly so. It deals with the subject of HIV/AIDS; and in so doing it touches on so many of the issues that we are facing in the world today.

The Synopsis (as taken from www.houseofnumbers.com):
What is HIV? What is AIDS? What is being done to cure it? These questions sent Canadian filmmaker Brent Leung on a worldwide journey, from the highest echelons of the medical research establishment to the slums of South Africa, where death and disease are the order of the day. In this up-to-the-minute documentary, he observes that although AIDS has been front-page news for over 29 years, it is barely understood. Despite the great effort, time, and money spent, no cure is in sight.

Born in 1980 (on the cusp of the epidemic), Leung reveals a research establishment in disarray, and health policy gone tragically off course. Gaining access to a remarkable array of the most prominent and influential figures in the field -- among them the co-discoverers of HIV, presidential advisors, Nobel laureates, and the Executive Director of UNAIDS, as well as survivors and activists -- his restrained approach yields surprising revelations and stunning contradictions.

The HIV/AIDS story is being rewritten, and this is the first film to present the uncensored POVs of virtually all the major players -- in their own settings, in their own words. It rocks the foundation upon which all conventional wisdom regarding HIV/AIDS is based. If, as South African health advocate Pephsile Maseko remarks, "this is the beginning of a war...a war to reclaim our health," then House of Numbers could well be the opening salvo in the battle to bring sanity and clarity to an epidemic clearly gone awry.

Please take the time to watch this; you might just wake up; and life is better lived when you are awake!

It is time to wake up from your hypnotized state that society has placed you under. You need to actively wake up to the reality of things and realize that the PR machine is working overtime to keep you under its control.

You are free!

The Observing and Masternig of your emotions

This is a BIG one!

How do you stay in control of your emotions, rather than letting your emotions control you?

Emotions are important, they can help you guide your life. If you know how to use them and if you use them correctly.
If not, they run your life for you, without you even knowing or having a real say in the matter. This is what we want to avoid. It is important to be in charge, and to get to know your emotions.

Emotions change your physiological state: your breathing, your posture and your thinking; it changes your body chemistry - in other words, it changes you!

Emotions dictate your day-today-life. As you react to your surrounding; through anchored cues, which pull an emotion to the forefront, and run the show for you.

Lets see what the dictionary  says about it:

emotion
  1. A mental state that arises spontaneously rather than through conscious effort and is often accompanied by physiological changes; a feeling: the emotions of joy, sorrow, reverence, hate, and love.
  2. A state of mental agitation or disturbance: spoke unsteadily in a voice that betrayed his emotion.
  3. The part of the consciousness that involves feeling; sensibility:

So,

How do you master your emotions then?

It has to start with learning to observe yourself - recognizing when you are in different emotional states, and how your body and thoughts are affected by it - posture, facial expression, breathing, focus, thoughts etc.

Secondly observe your thoughts, truly stay with them. Observing what you think, and how your thoughts affect you. This might be a tricky one; it's like being a second awareness in your head - "seeing" what you think.

Monitor your thoughts, and your emotional state with it. Get to know your feelings, and learn to recognize when you are under the control of a certain emotion.

If you want to break a negative emotion coming on, do something unexpected, like clap your hands, spin around, jump, slap yourself - anything - to break your mind starting to run it's normal program, with the undesired emotion.

Just going for a walk or a light run will help your body chemistry, and turn around a sour mood. Or doing two of the following : Change your posture to a good one, put a smile on your face(even if it's a fake one), focus your thoughts on the positive, control and slow your breathing - taking deep slow breaths through your nose.

In Conclusion.

To master your emotions practice to observe your thoughts - learn staying aware of what you think
- and how you think about it.

As this sets you in the direction of your emotion.

A smile, a good posture and calm breathing will also put your mind in the right direction.

The better you get on observing yourself the easier it gets to halt and turn negative emotions once they start. You will also find that you will also experience less "negative" emotions.

Just for the record.

I don't really think there are such a thing as "Good" or "Bad". As, "it's all good" - however there are emotions that benefit your life and there are emotions that just help to give nuance to "the life experience". It is important to feel all emotions, but equally important to be in charge of your emotions so that you are the one who act, and not the emotion.

I mean, is it you or your emotions who buy/eat/choose/do/want: "the new I-pod", "the red one", "just a small chocolate", "a coke", "a line of coke", "a cigarette", "the chips", "a newer version", "delivered pizza", "ohhh the shiny one" and "whatever else they are advertising nowadays" or "whatever else you use to numb your emotions"

Good reading on the subject are among many others:
Paul Ekman - Emotions Revealed
and
Daniel Goleman - Emotional Intelligence

Live food - Raw food - Heated food - Dead food - Deadly food

What do you eat?
If you find that you are eating mostly from the Deadly food list maybe it is time to think twice about your eating habits.

Live food - this is food which is alive
Examples:
Shoots and Sprouted seeds and nuts
Wild or Organic leaves/fruits/mushrooms/vegetables/flowers/berries/grasses. consumed straight after picking
Insects (eaten by mistake or with purpose as a part of the above)
Eggs (as above, picked from the nest)
Oysters
Living bacterial cultures - sauerkraut/nut or seed cheeses - this can be either raw or dead foods that you make alive with foreign bacteria through, for example fermentation

Raw food - food which has not been heated.
Examples:
Fruits
Vegetables
Dried Fruits
Sashimi

This one is easy, anything that has not been heated. Full of enzymes and fibres (if plant products), vitamins, minerals, good fats etc.

Heated food and/or Dead food - food that has been heated.
The nutritional value has decreased and the water has for the most part been cooked out of it. The molecule structure of the food changes and enzymes are killed. Some foods can have certain compounds released better through cooking, for example due to the fibres breaking down.
Depending on how you prepare the food it will be more or less dead. When I say dead food, it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, as in some cases you will receive more energy (calories), however you will not come close to the nutritional content in raw or live foods.

Superior ways of heating foods are: steaming, stir-frying in a wok using lime or water (not oil), using the oven on low-heat, and boiling (soups).

Deadly food - food that actively does harm to your health and your organism.
OK, here are the killers, I have more or less put them in the order that I rank them when it comes to damaged caused, particularly the first seven:
Soda - any kind of soda, you know them, Coke and all the rest.
Sugar - refined sugar in particular - sugar is (a) seriously addictive and harmful (drug). Avoid at all cost.
Flour - particularly white flour.
Artificial/Chemicals - Aspartame and all the other scary conservatives and e-numbers, they cause you serious harm.
Fast food - or more appropriately named, Junk food (you are what you eat, junk=trash people)
Ready Meals - same as fast food, it is trash!
Cooked or hydrogenated fats - Deep fried foods, or heated fats in general - seriously a bad idea.
Refined salt - Pure Sodium, if you want salt, change it for a natural salt, with the minerals all intact, a real salt has colour (red, grey, pink, purple, black) any colour but white.
Smoked foods - the smoking process creates carcinogens.
Dairy- pasteurized dairy, no matter what the add campaigns say, it's bad news. It has puss, blood, hormones, vaccines, the protein casein (which promotes cancer growth), and it causes serious mucus build up in your lungs and sinus. Furthermore, it promotes asthma and allergy, and if you are not white European you will have even bigger problems with dairy.
Soya - Most likely GM - Full of female hormones and other nasty substances, if you want to eat this your best bet is to eat small amounts and make it yourself (then it is a live food)
Meat - another dark horse to your health, if you really want to eat meat, eat only organic meat and fish from clean water, and do so in small amounts, and infrequently. Wild game is the best meat you can eat - pig (pork), cow (beef) and commercial chicken are some of the worst. And naturally sausages and hot dogs, they are nasty things and don't really deserve to be called meat.
Alcohol -not a food but it has to be on here, as it does your body serious harm, if you want to drink, do so modestly and infrequently.

Simple tips that will get you away from the Deadly list are:
  • Change your products from refined products to unrefined whole products - wholegrain etc
  • Substitute your rice/pasta/potatoes etc. for Quinoa
  • Change your soda drinks for fresh juice or water
  • Start using a real salt
  • Use the cooking tips as given under heated foods
  • Stop using your microwave oven
  • Stop buying fast food, McDonald's and Co does not serve happy meals, they serve depression.
  • Always eat organic. Particularly meat products.
  • Start reading the ingredients on the products that you buy, if they have conservatives, sugar, salt, hydrogenated fats and soya lecithin (to just mention a few) just don't buy it.... if you really want cookies, well do like your grandmother, make your own (but use unrefined sugar and wholegrain flour)

Simple tips to improve your health through the diet:
  • Eat a fruit before every meal
  • Don't drink with your meal
  • Drink plenty of water in-between meals
  • Drink a fresh juice every day
  • Start your day with a Green smoothie
  • Chew your food properly and eat in a calm state
  • Give thanks for your food
  • Leave two hours after eating before going to bed
  • Feel no guilt in combination to your food choices, eat and love it.

That's it for now people, Love yourself and treat your body with respect, it deserves it.

PS. at the moment the only animal products I eat are honey, bee pollen and insects (unknowingly).

Saturday shopping list

To complete the week: To give you an idea of what we eat, today we bought:

6 Small Watermelons - 6 Apples - 60 small Kaki/Persimmons - 2 Pineapples - 6 red Bell-peppers - Two Couves/Kale - Grapes 750g - 2 different kind of Green Leafs - and 1 red Cabbage

We have plenty of greens in the garden still. and we drink sugar cane juice perhaps 2 - 3 times a week.

This way we have a lot of choice of healthy food to eat - and we vary what we get. Every so often we go and stock up on seeds nuts and some dried fruits, but we don't eat too much of that, and when we do, it is either soaked or sprouted.

Interesting - The Mind and the Universe

It is key to know and understand your mind. How your reality is created and how your actions and reactions work, how you defend your own unconscious behaviour and how your belief system locks you inside a box.

This film is great, it is actually two films; the first one is about your mind and the second about quantum physics..
.
I am posting it mainly for the first film, however the second is interesting too.

oh, and thanks to Sarah for showing this to me.

Inspiration - Osho

Last  night P and I went to a `Tao temple` where we listened to a very good talk on
intention - character - destiny
it was delivered by a Taiwanese who has lived in Brazil for 10 years. There was some bowing involved before the talk started and we couldn't sit next to each-other, as men and women sat on either side, men to the right and women to the left, the bowing was also taking place separate, men first then women. I always find these sorts of habits funny and a bit strained, but you know as they say, while in Rome.

in short:
what you think, feel, talk and focus on in the now becomes your character, and your character creates your life.

Nothing he said was new to either of us. But it was the first time I have heard a Tao Buddhist speak on the topic, and it was very nice.  You cant really get enough of good reminders, so it was welcomed.

However the real reason we were there was to show a green smoothie recipe on a vegetarian cooking class held after the aforementioned presentation.

We did a very small introduction and showed a simple green smoothie and spoke about it. People showed allot of interest and  and wanted to know more. It was great fun ad-libbing in Portuguese in front of a crowd, I got rather pleased with my language skills.

anyhow, here is a clip:.

Osho is great, here he is talking about provocation, humour, contradictions, attachment and freedom.

life in the sun without sunglasses

Life in the sun is awesome, and I live it completely without sunglasses.

One of the most important vitamins or nutrients if you like, is Vitamin D, and this we get for free from the sun, to read more about Vitamin D and the process go to this post: The Sun is shining

Vitamin D deficiency is sadly rife in today's unhealthy society... the longer from the Equator you live the longer you need the sun to grace your body, and the darker pigment you have the longer sun exposure you need.

Your body, being far more intelligent than you, takes care of the whole process for you, as long as you let it...

Windows, sunscreen, clothes, glasses, and sunglasses, ruins this process.

Your eyes and the skin around your eyes regulates your skins uptake and protection,  you could say that this area tells your body to protect the skin from strong sunlight, as well as regulates the Vitamin D uptake.

Wearing sunglasses messes with your body's natural sunprotection as well as with the absorption process.

Sunscreen is by itself usually a toxic product, the rule with putting things on your skin should be:
if you won't eat it, don't apply it
as your skin absorbs it straight into your body, it doesn't even get the chance to go through the kidney for a cleans... just straight in with the toxins in your organism.

To get information of your creams/perfumes/toothpastes/lip balms/shampoos/sun screens etc please visit: http://cosmeticdatabase.com/ and find out just how toxic the products you are using are.

Needless to say I don't use sunscreen.

Anyway, I start writing a blog about sunglasses and I end up giving you a link to see how toxic your "hygiene" products are.... so lets get back to the sunglasses...

I used to have these really sexy Gucci glasses, but P forgot them somewhere and that was the end of them... This was when we still lived in the UK, and before I had started learning about Vitamin D. Granted I wasn't impressed about having had my glasses lost, but after learning more, I came to terms with it, realizing it was for the better.

A great thing about not wearing shades is that you get used to not using protection from the sun. I was always very light sensitive, and walked around squinting every time it was a bit bright outside, but now, I can handle the brightest of days comfortably, both without hat and glasses...

So get your clothes off and get direct sunlight on your skin, and do it without wearing glasses. However avoid the sun when it is the strongest. The best time for taking sun is before 10 and after 4 or 11 and 3 depending where you live and what part of the year it is... but midday sun is always best avoided. good times for lounging in the shadows.

Shades off and enjoy the sun.

What's the big deal with what you eat?

You are what you eat - a saying that you no doubt have heard. However, judging by how majority of people eat, I believe few people actually take in the reality of this statement.

You are what you eat - quite literally

Your body is constantly changing. Cells are dying, new ones are getting made in place of the old ones, fresh blood cells are being created, and much much more. Different cells/parts of your body regenerate with different frequency, everything from daily to yearly or more. But to give you a good idea of your body's regeneration, every 7 years you are a completely new make up of cells. Or to put it in another way; Today you are a completely new/different biological organism than you were 7 years ago.

Now here is a vital part; Your body creates its new cells from the minerals, vitamins, lipids, amino acids etc. that it receives from what you digest. Or to paraphrase once more; The compounds of what you digest becomes you!

This is pretty powerful information; You are constantly creating the new you, and play a direct role in the creation; You are the one who choose the building materials. You are the one who decides what your body will be made from.

You quite literally have the choice to degenerate by poor dietary choices or regenerating yourself by eating the best food ever.

Life without TV

A fated spring day in 2005 our TV stopped working.

P and I took it as a sign of sorts, and agreed on not buying another.

I can honestly say that it has been one of the best decisions taken in my life.

I never really spent much time thinking about the decisions I've taken in life and how they rank towards one and other, but now writing this, I can easily say that deciding to live without TV is among the top 10 best decisions, together with perhaps studying in the States, moving to London, changing my diet and moving to Brazil.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: Life without TV

Living life without TV gave me a minimum of 3 hours extra per week, but to be more realistic an extra 8-10 hours or at times much more per week. And I say extra, because watching TV is dead time. It is time that you can spend doing things that is good for you, or give you something in return.

Time better spent improving your life; playing, learning, talking with friends and family, exercising, taking up a new hobby or just laying on the couch daydreaming etc.

More water info!

Water: The source of all life.

About 70% of the earth’s surface is covered with water and 97% of this is salt water. Although the salt can be removed (desalination), it is a difficult and expensive process. 2% of the water on earth is glacier ice at the North and South Poles while less than 1% of all the water on earth is fresh water that we can actually use.

Embedded water, a hidden ecological problem

Various forecasts predict that the worlds population will exceed 8 billion in 20 years time, increasing global demand for food and energy with the need for fresh water rising by 30 percent. This will place an unsustainable stress on the worlds eco-systems. This could lead to a perfect storm, a term used by the UK governments chief scientist, Professor John Beddington, to describe future shortages of energy, food and water.

What many people fail to appreciate is that consumption goes beyond simple use of water in everyday life. There is the more important embedded water - the water used to grow food.

You are what you drink

Water is the fountain of youth, and the elixir of life.

When you were born you were about 90% water. Think about it, that is allot of water. and when you are born, you are fully alive.

At the moment you are around 70% water.

When your body reaches 50% water, you are clinically dead.

We lose about 2.5 litres of water every day, through normal functioning, we need to get that back through our food, our skin and through drinking water.

Most people don't drink enough water, and water is life.
To make it easy, water is involved in most bodily functions, and if you want them to function well you want your body to stay hydrated with new fresh water.

Most people are chronically dehydrated, this shows up in various ways, everything from asthma and IBS to headaches and dry skin.

If you are overweight you can usually lose easy kilos by just starting drinking the right amount of water.

Your body needs about 1,5 - 2 litres per day to function normally, if you loose allot of liquid due to exercise or hot weather, more might be good. the more you weigh the more you need. and depending on your state of dehdration, and how dry your food is you might need, much more.

Start your day with plenty of water

Before you leave bed in the morning, drink a large glass of water (the larger the better) first thing in the morning...

Drinking warm water in the morning is also very helpful and cleansing for the system.

Recipe to health

Poliana is happy to live on green smoothies, fruits, nuts and more smoothies, flax crackers and veggies. she likes to have things as they are, without processing.

So do I, but I also like to eat more elaborate things... meals "foody stuff" like a cocked diet offers... So every so often I make something.

I don't use recipes, and I don't usually write them down.

so this time I thought I would write down a recipe for you. I am making it as I write, and as I find ingredients to put in.

I am making a "Spicy Thai Coconut Curry" with "noodles"

Noodles:
2 Carrots
1 cucumber
use a peeler to make strips of the carrot and the cucumber. then toss together in a bowl, and put to the side. if you have a mandolin you can use it, the smaller and thinner strips you make the better it will be.

Dice the cucumber seed house (the centre) and any cucumber bits you get over and put to the side, we'll add them to the curry later for a bit of exciting texture.

The Curry:
1 whole coconut
open the nut and put the coconut water and coconut meat in a blender. add perhaps 3 glasses of water and start blending (for a good 3 minutes, until it is liquid, and smooth). pour your mixture through a sieve to separate the pulp from the liquid.
you will use the liquid. put the pulp to the side (we'll use it for a simple desert).

MY MORNING ROUTINE

My mornings are started with the drinking of around a litre of water upon wakening... a big glass before I leave the bed, and then I fill the glass and drink it again, during the waking process... I go to the bathroom and I empty, making my day start with a nicely clean and empty intestine each day...

I eat a raw vegetarian diet, rich in fibres and water.
I avoid eating 2 hours before I go to bed, and I avoid eating late at nights, so that my body can have time to do both the digestive process and general body maintenance while I sleep.

After I have been to the toilet, and I have finished my water, I flush my teeth with olive oil (cold pressed).
I flush and chew a table spoon of oil for 3-4 minutes, this helps my body to release toxins from the blood stream, through my mouth. I spit, then rinse with mineral salt and water, or bicarbonate soda and water; then I repeat the process. This is called oil pulling.

After this I brush my tongue a bit, and my teeth, then it is time for food. Depending on how much time I have available I either have a fruit to start me off, or I go for a green smoothie right away.

Today will be some melon, with a green smoothie following after about 30 - 45 minutes.

I always start my day with a green smoothie, which is a mixture of any dark leafy green, fruit (I usually use banana) and water, it's delicious and it sets me off for the best start of the day ever, full of energy and health.

- The water helps hydrate me and helps flush my kidney and liver in the morning.

- The oil helps me have whiter and cleaner teeth, a less toxic body and better health.

- The green smoothie helps me get a good helping of healthy greens in my stomach when my digestive fires are high, which sets for good assimilation and good energy to last.

habits create results, if you have good habits you will get good results!

Much love!

Best food ever!

first post of 2011.

it will be about food.

over the last 5-6 years I have gradually and comfortably changed my diet from:

"a normal cooked omnivore diet"
- to
"an organic cooked omnivore diet"
- to
"an organic and pescatarian diet" -
to
"a cooked organic vegetarian diet"
- to
"a 50-60% raw organic vegetarian diet"
- to
"a 70-90% raw vegetarian diet"
- to a
"95-100% raw vegetarian diet"

It has been a carefree and natural transition, and I have really enjoyed the food I have eaten and in all of the different stages. However where I am now; "95-100% raw vegetarian diet" is the most delicious.

My transition has been information based, and the information I have received has suited my transition perfectly.

I have gradually learnt the harms of meat, milk, eggs, heavy metals, herbicides and pesticides, soya, sugar, salt, flour, cooked fat, heating of foods, medicines, food and politics, GM products, food chemicals etc.

I have learnt of water, acidity and alkalinity, detoxing, chlorophyll, stomach acids, the immune-system, minerals, antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids, good fats, enzymes, fibres, cells, the body, the sun, the mind, bacteria, healing, spirituality, detachment, fasting and much much more...

It has been one of the best journeys ever, I have learnt, I have applied the knowledge, I have seen and felt the positive results. I have learnt more, applied, improved, and so it goes.

I have seen other people apply my knowledge and improve and I have seen them ignore the knowledge to then decline again. I have seen and felt the healing powers of the best foods, and I have seen and felt the destructive powers of bad foods.

I lately asked myself, if you know what you know, do you really let your friends and family go on like they always have done?
slowly degenerating themselves with what should really give them nourishment - their food!

I know that you can't change others, just yourself, so it is an interesting question.

Do you eat meat?

"Animals know when they are going to die. Their body's response to fear is a massive release of adrenaline which, after they are killed, is not removed from the tissue... just think, with every bite you are literally ingesting fear and violence."

My friend posted this on facebook, and she got some defensive meat comments back, funny and nice once, I'll give you the samples:
-buttt dammm gurrrl it tastes goood

- Knowing this makes eating meat all the more awesome.

- and with every bit of that fear and violence i am fed and well!

And to this I felt I wanted to add a few words and this is what I wrote:

it is your fear which is responding guys, you are scared of living life without meat, you know what she is saying is true... but you say it taste so good... but then when you start thinking and doing some serious research in to the matter, you can make a few different realizations and they are:
1. you don't live to eat, you eat to live, so eating what would make you live the longest or best would probably be ideal, fear and meat does not meet those standards.
2. hey other foods taste great too, I don't actually need to eat meat.
3. it is slowly killing me, cancer, heart disease, MS etc. when you think about it doesn't really sound like the rock n roll or ideal way to finish life.
4. you are a conformist that is buying in to the corporate bullshit and eating what they are feeding you... which is poison (and I don't refer to meat, I refer to what you find in the meat, and what the meat was fed.
5. Corporations feed you meat, filled with fear, and fear controls you, which makes you a sheep, which makes you cattle.
6. Animals (living species, with emotions), are being treated as a cash crop.
7. 50% of all fish pulled up from the oceans are fed to animals.
8. 80% of all crops grown goes to feeding animals.
9. Large parts of the world still have a vegetarian or mainly vegetarian diet.
10. Humans are not really meant to eat meat (teeth, intestines, our inability to actually catch with our bare hands/teeth and eat other animals (meat) raw)

There are very many more realizations that one can make, but I gave you a small sample... naturally change is not easy, fear is strong, and meat is what you have always known as being food and good food at that, it takes both curiosity, courage and strength to see what life would be like without meat...

-----
and then I didn't even talk about the methane gas emitted by cattle. the deforestation which is happening to create gracing land etc.

Well guys as always I invite you to do your own research.

Much Love.

Stress, acid and Schizophrenia

I read somewhere that moving is one of the most stressful things that one can do in life...

how far up the list of stressful things it is, I am not really sure, however I bet you it's up there alongside: being in a circus cage with tigers and money worries like not being able to pay your bills etc.

Now stress builds up acid in the body and acidity in the body causes disease, so you want to keep stress at a minimum in your life. to keep your body alkaline is one of the big secrets to good health.

There are many keys to the door to perfect health, they are usually not spoken about, however I will start giving a few keys away every so often: Here is one major key aspect to good health, I already wrote about!

Good health is a pretty simple task really, however "Health" is big business and majority of things that are bad for your health are also big business, and big business usually gets their way... the fact that we allow aspartame to be consumed at all is just one very obvious example of this (big business having a negative impact on your life that is).

anyway, stress and moving was the thought that started this blog - I am moving - tomorrow, and I don't really know where, all I know is that on Friday the new tenant is moving in.
It is a pretty stressful thought, and it doesn't help that my rock, my fiancee and my princess is flying off to samba land tomorrow.

repacking for the 3rd time, maybe even 4th and have managed to give most of our worldly possessions away to friends... except a table and a whole lot of books and other curiosa that we are having shipped over the old fashion way, (American translation = by sea).

so how am I coping with the stress you ask, well I am sitting here and writing a blog, at night, so I think all things considered pretty well, that said allot to do, so maybe not so good.

Short interview with myself:

M -Do you feel overwhelmed?
M1 -oh yes I do, indeed.

M - what are you doing to cope with the stress?
M1 - well I am writing a blog, which is turning out rather schizophrenic, thank you. I am also keeping it calm, and thinking that there is always tomorrow to finish up. as long as P manages to get her stuff sorted and bundled on the plane I am happy, and can then tackle what is left.

M- so you started talking about how stress creates acidity in the body, what are you doing to prevent that?
M1 - well, I am rather healthy as it is, but I did buy a big head of green salad that I will make a smoothie of in the morning, you see, greens, are very good for alkalinity. and then there is the watermelons we have been eating during packing the last few days... there's allot of good diet choices involved... and I don't really eat much stuff that is acidic so I trust myself to tackle this stress attack of acidic build up, however that is just the physical side of things....

M - OK, so what are you doing to sort out the mental side?
M1 - well, for one I wrote this blog, and now I will get back in to it. if you have to do something, just do it. no point in waiting, I am a great procrastinator; but then I also know that this is just a belief and a thought that I have, and thoughts can be changed, so I will do it now. if you can do it later, don't. Do it now, do it now, do it now! I will feel all better for it when I am done.

M - well, I will not hold you here anymore then off you go, thank you.
M1 - no, thank you!

There we go folks - shows over for this time - I got things to do

Peace and love

Because you are worth it!

Each and every one of us have the potential to be the best we can and each of us can do the best we can to release that potential.

We all come from different places and mindsets but that doesn't stop the fact that we can always improve, to release more of the greatness which is you.

Thousands of geniuses live and die undiscovered - either by themselves or by others.
Mark Twain
It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not;
Don't set limits for your thoughts and dreams as you will never reach further than your beliefs. Negative thoughts will bring you negative results, and negative results will only give you confirmation that you were right, which is the only satisfaction you can reap from it.

If you doubt yourself, then indeed you stand on shaky ground.
Henrik Ibsen

Don't limit your life by limiting beliefs about yourself, you are a wonderful human being and you can manage anything you put your heart and mind to.

Most people never realize their own magnificence - and sadly the world is a darker place for it. What we see around us today is a society built on self-doubt, guilt, fear, confusion and self-hatred, to release you from thoughts that put blame on yourself, of any kind, is to invite life.

Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.
Eleanor Roosevelt

When you look at life without any of the negative feelings and insecurities you hold towards yourself and your circumstances you will start to enjoy every moment of it!

To be truly present is the greatest gift of all, and perhaps also the hardest. I assume this is why most people prefer hard presents - They are a metaphor for living in the NOW.

Don't let the past steal your present.
Cherralea Morgen

Every morning, seek out a mirror of your own choosing and look yourself in they eyes and say: "I am a beautiful, magnificent human being, and I am grateful for everything life brings me!"

Smile to yourself, take a deep breath and say it again.

"I am a beautiful, magnificent human being, and I am grateful for everything life brings me!"

keep repeating it as many times you feel like, you truly can't say it enough.

"A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval"
Mark Twain

Through out the day, if you are having any negative thoughts, encounters or moments, which will set your mood in the wrong direction, think back to the morning chat you had with yourself. That's right, you, talking to yourself in the mirror. Remember that you are a beautiful, magnificent human being and what ever just happened was a gift from life, and guess what, you are grateful for it.

Take a deep breath, and slowly breath out, and thank yourself for being mindful enough to remind yourself of your magnificence.

All of us have wonders hidden in our breasts; only needing circumstances to evoke them. Charles Dickens

The road I am talking about so much (www.whatistheroad.blogspot.com) is happiness and joy, The reason it is a road is because life's a journey, not a destination, so don't try to get to a happier or better place, it doesn't exist anywhere, it exists everywhere at all times.

You are living it right now, embrace it!

That's it folks, keep on truckin!

Don't reinvent the wheel; don't change the wheel, just roll with it.
